After deparing from port, bus stops at Museum of the Meiji Restoration.The Museum of Meiji Restoration is the birthplace of Saigo Takamori and Okubo Toshimichi both of whom were active during the end of the Edo period and the beginning of the Meiji Restoration (19th Century), and is a town referred to as the “Birthplace of the Meiji Restoration”. This museum introduces the history of Kagoshima, which became the driving force of modern day Japan, as well as the exploits of Kagoshima’s forefathers by using plays and diverse high-tech displays using robots, dioramas and videos in a fun and an easy-to-follow format.

Next, tour stops at Taiga drama museum of Takamori Saigo who is a hero of Kagoshima in Edo period. The Sego-don Taiga Drama Kan is a noted tourist attraction in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Visitors can experience the dramatic life of Saigo Takamori, who opened up a new era in Japan’s history with love and courage. His story is portrayed in the popular NHK historical drama television show, Sego-don. Before returning to the port, you'll visit Tenmonkan for shopping.
